A TRIP TO VAGAMON

Anyone who thinks Vagamon is just a barren hill, a pine grove and a few steep curves should be ashamed. Situated at distance of 98 km from Kochi, this hill station is one of the best monsoon destinations in kerala.A rain corridor in front of Idukki. The road to Vagamon is as exciting as once writing about Valparai. If your idea is to walk through a hundred men inadvertently pushing and shoving ice cream on top of a hill, leave Vagamon alone and you will not stand in that place.Riding a bike during the rainy season can be confusing. bike is well for wind, cold and fog. The road is often cut off, so there are many adventures ahead. When we reach Vellikulam after the fire, one of the tourist directions we see is to turn left: Illikkal Kallum and Ilaveezhapoonchira. At the Vellikulam Interchange you can see the direction panel to the Marmala Falls.Turn left onto main road to reach Marmala Falls. Marmala Falls is a small waterfall that is often overlooked by tourists visiting Vagamon. Solo drivers will love this place.Nice asphalt road, rubber plantations at great depths, and dark trees on the other side. You can reach the bottom of the Marmala stream by walking for about 5 km.The journey to Vagamon continues after Marmala. This time there are three places to avoid. The barren hills and pine forests of the Vagamon range are then crowded and crowded. Instead, go to quiet places and wander through the rain-soaked tea gardens. There is Vagamon. There are two ways to enjoy Vagamon. One, from Vagamon straight to Elappara. Secondly, take the Elappally-Kanjar route from Vagamon. It is 16 km to Elappara. Tea forests can be seen along the way. Occasionally the houses of Tamil workers were cleaned, tea pickers arrived, four-wheeled jeeps swept the road, and KSRTC buses sped through the curves as if dead without a trace. The motto is always be careful and run.Elappara is the corner of Vagamon. Martyrs' halls, supply depots, post offices, stalls, stagnant tea gardens, lost colonies in the woods beyond the football fields - now straight to Elappally. Return to the Vagamon Town and select Elappally, Kanjar Road. Now the view is changing. The big curves come unexpectedly. He hangs himself above his head, making sure it rains occasionally, and then runs away.Crosses can be seen from time to time when hills appear - cultivation at all hill stations in Kerala. The crosses are like handcuffs to climb the road to the mountain. In those lands there is nothing artificial except crosses. So much pain, the buildings at the top of the hill. Resorts are still under construction. Sometimes a concrete tower stands on a large islet of greenery. This will completely destroy the view. This will help you run faster.Another main sight on way to Elappally is Christian the churches. Small churches of movements like the Salvation Army. On the walls are often inscriptions commemorating the coming of God.The last bend to Elappally is full of nature. Comes green and attracts attention. It's just that someone wants to call something. The whole of Vagamon can be seen in the distance from the last corner of Elappally Hill. It may rain in Vagamon now. This is the perfect time to go. Go there and smell rain and trees.
